A mere week has gone by in my second semester at NYU, but I've already heard the phrase it's so cold more than 1,007 times. I, for one, am not complaining. In fact, I love the cold. I love the drastic temperature shock when I reluctantly step outside. I love walking around the city at the speed of light like the wind is chasing me. I love the piercing air tingling against my face. I love that blissful moment when I finally reenter the world of indoors, and a wave of heat washes over me. And I love how my pale-as-a-ghost complexion then deepens to a rosy glow.
So it's no surprise that I'm coveting this penguin-inspired ensemble. In an oversized jumper with white fin-like stripes, I'd have no problem fitting in with my aquatic friends in Antarctica. A jagged crystal ring resembles a drifting glacier, while accents of icy blue channel the arctic waters. Goggle-esque glasses peeking out of a chunky beanie give off a creature vibe, and these zodiac flats, while not the most practical, would look infinitely pretty gliding across the ice. Watch out emperors, there's a new penguin about to belly slide into town.
